To Be or Not To Be

A little kingdom I possess,
Where thoughts and feelings dwell;
And very hard the task I find
Of governing it well.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

I think this must be the longest gap between my blog posts ever!

At present, going through a feeling of deja vu. A feeling of walking over unpleasantly familiar territory. Change. I resist it, and as if determined to get me on good terms with it, fate pits me against change.

I hate to see known faces go. My boss of over 5 years put in his papers last month. I had read somewhere that employees are not loyal to companies but to their bosses. A good or bad boss can make or break the deal. I was lucky to have a good boss. All the more sad now to lose one.

When a change comes that we perceive as bad, we don't look beyond it. But when I look back, I realize that some of those supposedly bad changes had opportunities hidden in them. Maybe this one also does. Change makes you think, forces you to see in directions you did not see before. And, for someone like me, who does not go looking for change, maybe it's destiny's way of shaking me and saying, "there, deal with this!"
